Alumni

The graduation of the first cohort in 2025 marked an important milestone in the history of the HySET program. Our graduates bring together diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, forming a growing network of professionals, researchers, and future leaders across the world.

As new cohorts complete the program in the coming years, this section will continue to grow, documenting the diverse experiences, research contributions, and professional trajectories of our graduates.

We look forward to following the paths our alumni will take and to maintaining connections between graduates, current students, faculty, and partners as the community evolves over time.

“If I had to choose it again, I would for sure do it because it is a great opportunity to understand the whole chain of hydrogen, to see how it works and how it will be in the future […]. I did my thesis project in Shell which gave me networking opportunities and a good sight of where I want to be in the future”

“During the program I had the opportunity to meet some people that I knew before from literature and that I admired a lot, from my field which is catalysis. I believe it was a very rich and nice experience because I was able to enjoy extremely nice facilities, both in Milan and Eindhoven. I had the opportunity to be part of two great universities, and I believe this was wonderfully priceless.”

Thesis projects

The Master's thesis represents the culmination of each student's academic journey and an opportunity to engage with original research on topics of contemporary relevance.

To showcase the breadth and quality of student work, we decided to publish a thesis booklet for each graduating cohort. These collections provide an overview of the research questions, methodologies, and findings developed by our students, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of the program and its engagement with real-world challenges.
